After feeding the horses this morning with the help of the staff of course, I was ready to ride my personal horse. I first just but a bridle on her and went on a short trial. Riding bareback was the best, especially in the early morning. Trees loomed around and overhead, Star snorted and tossed her head. I pulled in the reins a bit, telling her not to do anything. Once we got back to the farm a put a jumping saddle on her. She stood tall, she looked ready to jump. I had my instructor set up 3 small warm up jumps. I trotted around them once or twice, then got ready to jump. I quickly cleared them and asked her to put another poll up. By the end of jumping we were jumping 3'. I was excited, since Evening Star was still young and was just starting to learn how jump. I cooled her down then gave her a good grooming. I turned her out the pasture and she cantered over to the other horses.
