As we could see the beautiful country abroad at the top of the hill, the gentle breeze blew through my hair. In my lunch sack, I of course had packed carrots and apples. It was quite a feat just reaching his head around, but with the bit being in his mouth, I was amazed that he ate it ALL up...I chuckled a little and smiled at my boy. No one was here to bug us, and only the noise of yhe river below dwindled in the wind. The sun was shining brightly over us, God had made this day just for us. I closed my eyes and took in a big breath. The joy of course was shortly over with the interruption of some Mr.Rackiday (our creepy neighbor) shooting some pigeons a few hills over. Being Tucker, he spooked, and unfortunately set out in a fully charged gallop. With the lines of a Qaurter Horse, it was not easy to explain to my father "WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED TO ME?!?!" ... you get the picture. All the bones and muscles in my body ached horribly. What has destryed my horse?, I asked myself. When we got him when he was 5, he was an angel. He may have needed a bit of touch up, but Parelli did that. Oh well, I sighed. Enough, enough, enough. Get over it. This isn't the way I was taught and raised, I was raised being tough. Heck, I should've tried out for PeeWee football, if I ever had had the chance. I just have to keep at it, keep it evened ouy. I caN NOT QUIT.
