Owner: Heartland
Size: 200 acres
Description: Lush with green grass and small streams. When you first drive up the long gravel driveway you pass several large pastures. Horses graze happily and perk up as they hear you go by. Once you reach the end of the driveway you see an old, but well kept, farm house. After a short walk you arrive at the first stable block, which has 20 stalls altogether, 10 on each side. Some horses are still in the stalls but most are either being ridden or out in the pastures. The ones that are in the stalls though nicker to you and you walk up to them. After you see those horses you go to the next 3 stable blocks, each having several horses in the it. At the far end of each stable block there is a tack room, full of western and English saddles and bridles. Cleaning supplies and a bulletin board with news and dates of many events. You walk past an indoor arena, then two more. You see 10 different penned in training areas. Each holding different things, jumping, barrel racing, dressage. You can tell by now that there are many types of riding that you can try. After walking and exploring for a while you stop at one of the penned in areas. It has a young rider with an instructor telling her how to do things. The instructor is calm and has a smile on her face. You smile and wave, she waves back. You didn't talk to any of the many workers you saw earlier because you didn't see the need. She walks over, telling her student she is doing fine, then she jogs over to you. She says that she is happy to see you and can't wait to get your opinion on the Green River Stables. You glance in the distance, mountains and a wide river paint the distance. Miles of trails carve around the mountians and trees. You think you almost saw a wild horse too.
Price: $50 SSS a day, (or month in SSS time)
(sorry for the long post! I couldn't help myself, i hope my stable is like this someday!)
