Skipper's Trigger
I rode the stallion into the arena, colorful jumps set up around it. I warmed up Trigger, his long graceful strides covering ground. I still was the only thing on him, his head low. I leaned my weight to my right, Trigger turning to the weight change. We headed for the first jump, Trigger's strides long. I raised into position, Trigger collecting himself a little. We clear the first couple combinations, then headed for a triple oxer. The oxer stood about four foot 8'' I gulped, but collected my thoughts and gave Trigger the encouragement he neededto clear the jump. I rode the stalllion out of the arena, returning him to the barn and pulling Ace out of his stall.
Ace in the Hole
I saddled Ace quickly, wanting to ride all the stallions she had entered in the shows. Ace and I walked into the arena warming up, the same jumping course set up around the arena. After the warm up, we cantered toward the jumps. As we finished the course, I looked back to see only one jump had fallen. I patted Ace's neck and dismounted leading him back to his stall. I unsaddled the horse, putting Taste on the cross ties.
Expensive Taste
The canadian cutting horse, pranced in the cross ties ready to move outside. I groomed the slick, dark bay coat of the gorgeous stallion. After I groomed and saddled the stallion, I brought out Wild grooming and saddling the stallion leaving him in the cross ties as I rode Taste out to the arena. After warming him up, we preformed the same course as the two stallins before. After a clear round I returned him to his stall after unsaddling him. I turned on my heels to get Wild.
Wild Chance
Wild snorted as she approached, raising to his hind legs and thrashing the air. The stallion didn't get ever high, before the chain cross ties pulled him down. I knew he was the most temid of the stallion and mares for that matter. I cooed to the stallion, who settled soon hearing the familiar voice. I unclipped him for the ties, placing the bridle on him and riding him to the arena. The stallion tossed his head and tryed to gallop away, having been an ex racehorse the stallion was harder to handle. I warmed up the frisky stallion, then pointed him toward the jumps. The combinations kept him challanged, but as the jumps got a little easier he began to become restless. The stallion bucked trying to unseat me, but I had an idea he was going to try but wouldn't get me off. After the triple oxer the stallion responded to every command and slight weight shift, as the stallion started to behave the course ended and I returned him to his stall unsaddling him. I went stall to stall feeling the legs of every horse, then grooming it. The mare's would be the next to be worked but it would have to wait till tomorrow.
